Purse

So here's the purse:





I took a fabric I had gotten years ago, cut out circles and petal shapes, and raw appliqued them.  I got the dragon batik from a quilt festival years ago (from Indonesian Batiks), and have been embroidering on it.  I showed a closeup of the seed embroidery.  That will be the flap.  Then the jewels will go somewhere, not sure.  The blue brocade that makes me salivate will be the lining.  I love it, how about you?

    Funny too, how our tastes in colors change through the years. When I was a little girl/teenager, it was blue and yellow, then for years it was red,red,red and some orange thrown in. Now I can't seem to get enough purple and violets! Will get some pics on here soon, as soon as I take downloading 101 from Will! I LOVE everything I see here! and yes, the turquoise and fuschia together are pure opulence...
